I can report that over the past year, this work has begun.

The Recovery Act has saved or created roughly two million jobs so far.

I am confident, for example, that when 1 in 10 of our fellow citizens can't work, we should be able to come together and help business create more jobs.

The public has soured on the process that they saw over the last year.

We call on the Government of Iran to live up to its international human rights obligations.

We are eliminating lobbyists from boards and commissions...

Government can't create these businesses, but it can give entrepreneurs the support they need.

I am proud that these distinguished individuals will serve in my Administration.

What government can do is fuel that engine: by giving entrepreneurs and companies the support to open their doors, expand, and hire more workers.

I announced my intent to nominate the following individuals.

We decided that we were going to govern.

We urge the government of China to protect the unique cultural and religious traditions of Tibet.
