What do I want my country to look like when we cross that bridge into the 21st century?

Your vote will decide whether we can continue to do that, or whether we will weaken our commitment to our common environment and our children's future.

Never, never, never doubt there is an enormous connection between the decision you and your fellow Americans make and what kind of bridge we build to that bright new tomorrow.

Nobody is as well-positioned as the United States to move into that new millennium that starts just 4 years from now.

We have worked together to try to seize the future not only on the things I mentioned but the Summit of the Americas.

We believe that we ought to be building a bridge to the future wide enough and strong enough for everybody to walk across who is responsible enough to do their own part.

We can't afford to waste the talents of a single person if we are to succeed in this exciting and challenging new world.

This country is on the right track for the 21st century.
