I met a young man not very long ago in Albany, New York, an eighth grader who has done a research paper on volcanoes entirely based on resources in Australia.

I want every middle class family in this country and every poor family in this country to be able to send their kids to college.

I do not believe any major American company on the verge of the 21st century would cut its investment in education or research or technology.

I do not believe America would be stronger if we denied tens of thousands of young children the chance to be in the Head Start program.

Do you really want those thousands of kids out of the chance to be in the Head Start program?
