The values of our nation are rooted in a commitment to justice, equality, and respect for all people.

We must remain committed to the pursuit of peace through understanding and cooperation.

Let there be no doubt in your mind about how seriously I take these pledges that have been made on my own word of honor and on behalf of the people of the United States.

I hope that all of you who have helped today... will leave here with another additional commitment.

You can depend on that, if I can depend on you.

The United States will continue to maintain—undiminished—its firm commitment to NATO and will continue to provide the forces needed to back up that commitment.

Our commitment is not to war, it's to peace.

India, under the greatest trial and tension, has reaffirmed its commitment to rule by the people.

The declaration that we have just signed, or will sign, commits to paper what has long been written in our hearts.

A society's strength is measured by its commitment to the well-being of all its members.

We must address the problems of poverty and inequality with compassion and commitment.

I pledge to you we will do better in the next 4 years.

In recent weeks I have emphasized the commitment of this Nation to taking every step necessary to end the vicious threat of terror both here and abroad.
