Stephen Gethins: “Scotland’s future lies in restoring our place at the heart of Europe”

Today marked a declaration of our unwavering support for Scotland’s energy sector and for our resources to be used to the benefit of the people of Scotland.

More than 6,700 payments have been made since the Scottish Government launched this scheme to ensure households with the greatest need could meet the cost of keeping their homes warm.

We need the UK Government to step up now to remove barriers and provide the confidence the market needs in order to accelerate investment.

I welcome Audit Scotland’s constructive recommendations on ways it can be strengthened.
