Neil Gray: “Ultimately, men must change their behaviour”

Both the Culture Secretary and I have previously written to the UK Government, making it clear that such a significant event should not be placed behind a paywall.

Antisocial or dangerous behaviour or disorder is unacceptable, I understand the concerns of those affected and how distressing these situations can be.

I won’t apologise for the fact that average sentences have increased. I think that is right that we have sentences matching the seriousness of criminality that we have faced.

I am ensuring we are taking every possible step to tackle the increasing threat of wildfires.
