Scotland is ready. The Scottish people are ready. It is time the UK government delivered.

The world has changed fundamentally since 2014. So has the UK, and so has Scotland.

The UK Government came to office promising to cut people’s bills by £300, yet bills are already more than £250 higher – and they are going to increase further as we head into winter.

We will continue to use all the powers available to build prosperity, while making the case for greater powers to help Scotland grow further and faster.

What that says to me is that Scotland’s energy has got to be in Scotland’s hands, so that we can reduce fuel bills and use the energy wealth of Scotland to support consumers in our country.

Labour have totally failed to cut energy bills as they promised.

I’m surprised the Prime Minister’s decided not to come to Scotland as part of his listening tour.

It will complement our trusted network of GP practices across the country, which we are bolstering with historic additional investment to recruit more GPs with £531 million to 2029.

This is part of my Government’s wider agenda to provide patients with greater choice and access to care closer to home – in turn relieving pressure on hospitals and acute services.
