It is a little bit like the game Operation where if you touch something you should not it sends out a shock. It is like an electric shock. It is extremely painful. So painful you cannot do anything else.

[The attacks] definitely gets worse when you are in stressful situations. So I did think whether I should really run to be an MSP as clearly I would be in stressful situation were I elected.

But if everybody who is in pain doesn't step forward then people in pain aren't going to be recognises and aren't going to have their voices heard. So I thought it was essential.

It feels like I can't be there for my kids. I can't talk with them.
