At a time when millions of people are struggling with bills, rent and the cost of living, Nigel Farage and Reform UK MPs appear to have been using their public profile to get their noses as deep into the trough of dirty money as they can.

The Code of Conduct must be fit for purpose in the face of the way misinformation can now be rapidly spread and used to stir up fear and division.

The public have a right to expect that their representatives in Parliament are working full time for them, not for private paymasters.

Our Parliament should be setting the highest standards. MSPs should be bringing people together and working to ease tensions, not inflaming them and trying to turn communities against each other.
