This victory is a testament to our hard work

I will look to work with a president that I may disagree with substantially.

I think it's absolutely an endorsement of an agenda that's putting Virginians first.

Absolutely not.

We hit a new low, what the administration did in the last 24 hours is corrosive not only to our Democracy but downright dangerous for our national security.

The idea that there are families getting pulled over on the side of the road, and parents getting taken out of the cars, and children left is just an absolute nightmare situation and it doesn't make our communities safer.

Your mom’s going to be the next governor of Virginia.

This is a classic thing where there's no one, you know, part of government that's got the whole answer to this.

The notion of at least sitting down to talk about health care, making sure that $6 billion that is set aside for SNAP benefits gets paid out so people don't go hungry and we get the government reopened again.

This document needs to be shared with every member of the Senate this week, so that as we get into this discussion about war powers, we've got the basis of how the administration is claiming that it's legal.

Get the money out to people in need, sit down with us, get this resolved this week, and let's get everybody back to work.

Let's spread the word, because again, getting this done in the statute is one thing.

I hope it ends it this week. Frankly, I see it from my folks. I was greeting voters yesterday.

Get the darn thing open. Deal with the health care cliff. Don't let people go hungry, when we've got money set aside on SNAP.

If you want to put Americans in harm's way, it needs to be done on a bipartisan basis.

You deserve a governor who will work with Democrats and Republicans to grow our economy and not stand by while Virginia’s workforce is under attack.
