The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law provided more than $55 billion for drinking water and wastewater improvements, the largest investment in our Nation's history.

I think it is, I would use the word shameful, in the way that the city has delayed consideration of nominees for judicial posts in the District of Columbia too often and in past years.

Nearly 2 years after becoming law, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is helping to make clean water a reality for millions of households, for schools, and childcare facilities across our country.

It is important to me that at a time when there seems to be bipartisan agreement, that protecting American invention and innovation should be a high priority--that we do our best at that.

Today, we are going to expand upon those efforts, focusing on the law's drinking water programs.

That is quite a disparity.
