I believe we all have the same goal here. We all want to get autonomous vehicles on the road so we can begin to reduce the number of deaths on our roadways.

I was glad to see you testify that California's waiver is 'not currently being reviewed,' but has a firm decision been made not to re-open the waiver in the future?

We ought to be working together on bipartisan comprehensive legislation rather than these piecemeal bills and these bills don't do enough.

We also need to create a level playing field that allows all innovative companies to compete.

Without sufficient resources, NHTSA won't be able to facilitate the safe and speedy adoption of autonomous vehicles.

I love the fact that the U.S. has always had the most innovative and the strongest auto industry in the world.
