It is critical that neither the Federal Government nor a State takes too heavy-handed an approach.

Neither the federal government nor a state should become overbearing and upset that balance.

The most effective way to address these issues is through implementing effective and pragmatic environmental policies under the Clean Water Act that balance environmental, economic, and social outcomes.

Protecting our waters is absolutely critical to communities and ecosystems at home and all around the Nation.

Water is obviously critical for life. We can't live without it.

We need to treat them like family--that means guaranteeing something like this never happens again in a VA facility.

This is unacceptable.

I believe in second chances, but not in life-or-death circumstances.

I respectfully request your Committee investigate the actions and decisions made by the VA throughout the entirety of this episode.

The President in no way, form or fashion has ever promoted or encouraged violence.

Let us let our own children know that we will stand against the forces of fear. When there is talk of hatred, let us stand up and talk against it. When there is talk of violence, let us stand up and talk against it.

Healthcare cannot and should not be a political issue if we truly hope to help all Americans.

In the United States of America, we can do much better in healthcare. We can cover more people. We can cover preexisting conditions.

We can either fight and bicker about trivial political matters or we can work together to make progress and actually address the healthcare crisis.

Health insurance premiums are spiraling out of control, patients can barely afford essential medications that keep them alive, and costs to obtain care are outrageously unaffordable.

Our current system of healthcare is failing them. As Members of Congress with the ability to address this broken system, we are failing them every day we do not take action.

I applaud my colleagues for pushing effective policies that maintain and accelerate our clean energy edge on multiple fronts.
