The chairman of the January 6th committee says that the upcoming hearings, witnesses will describe conversations between these paramilitary groups that led the breach of the capitol and people in the orbit of that President Trump.

This group is a renamed version of one of the white nationalist groups that took part in the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville in 2017.

That feels worse than bad, no matter who replaces them. That feels indefensible, and I do not defend it.

Perverting U.S. law enforcement for political means is arguably illegal, definitely wrong and can’t go unpunished.
