Clark was subpoenaed by the committee last week. He’s a lifelong Republican lawyer who served both in private practice and in the George W. Bush DOJ ultimately becoming Acting Assistant Attorney General for the DOJ’s Civil Division at the very tail end of Donald Trump’s term.
