This comes on the heels of the Democratic victory in New York`s 19 last week. A Democrat had flip the seat that had been Republican-controlled for almost 50 years tonight in a red state special election.
I don`t think the people that run the Republican Party have correctly adduced their own self-interest in a more medium term than just the next election.
