On the recordMarch 8, 2006
There would be a problem having the vote at this time, just out of convenience for a number of Senators on both sides who have other commitments. We would like to perhaps stack votes a little later in the afternoon. I want to collaborate with the chairman of Homeland Security and Senator Dodd and Senator Lieberman about exactly what time we would do that. We could get more work done without interfering with Senators' schedules. So, yes, there would be an objection to it right now. But it has already been locked in and we will have a recorded vote. It will be first in the sequence whenever we set it up.
