Tom Suozzi: “I want to mend it, not end it.”

We've identified 10 candidates, Democratic candidates, to sign the pledge that says 'We're capitalist, not socialist. We're for safety, not lawlessness. We're proud, not ashamed of America, and we're mainstream, we're not extreme.'

If I show up and say ‘hey lets work together to solve the problems that we face in our country,’ you’re not going to get a big rally for that.

We’re for capitalism, not socialism. We’re for safety, not lawlessness. We’re proud of America. Not ashamed of America. And we need to be promoting those things.

I don't ascribe to any of those ideas at all, and I think that there's very little support for those ideas.
