This is one report that I hope will not be one of those gathering dust reports, but will be truly an impetus to very major action on the part of this committee and this Congress.

I think they support the concept of country of origin labeling, that our consumers deserve to know the origins of the products they feed their families.

I return to work today to this great body with a renewed spirit and a sharper focus.

I strongly support efforts to increase funding for the National Science Foundation.
