I urge adoption of the bill, and I yield back the balance of my time. The SPEAKER pro tempore (Mr. Francis Rooney of Florida). The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from North Carolina (Mr. Walker) that the House suspend the rules and pass the bill, S. 899, as amended. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the bill, as amended, was passed. The title of the bill was amended so as to read: ``An Act to amend title 5, United States Code, to ensure that the requirements that new Federal employees who are veterans with service-connected disabilities are provided leave for purposes of undergoing medical treatment for such disabilities apply to certain employees of the Veterans Health Administration.''. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
