What I'm talking about are real cuts. Actually cutting, but you can't do this unless you change policy. If you expect to have welfare benefits from cradle to grave, free housing, free food and free medical care and free education, you can't do it.

But the young people that come to see me, that's their biggest issue, is the war and the spending.
The greatest danger when we accept the notion that the government is supposed to take care of us from cradle to grave and we're supposed to be the policemen of the world is that ultimately it's down at the expense of personal liberty.
Let's hope that we can get the progressives together with the libertarians and the constitutionalists and say enough is enough.
