I'm not surprised. I think there has been a few of us who have been warning about this, voted against the Patriot Act, voted against this FISA court so it doesn't surprise me a bit.
I think we spend way too much time worrying about the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Use some of those resources on our own border.
But under war time conditions, people generally get more careless about their civil liberties.
I never think it's do or die from everything. Everybody is still in the race.
