What revenues do they have? Who are you going to tax when the American corporations that are in Puerto Rico precisely because of 936 go to foreign shores? Where do our colleagues get the revenue for them? It is not the corporations that I am here to defend but the 300,000 jobs that are created. Let us look at the laws that govern Puerto Rico, but we do not want to have a debate about that.”
