New Orleans will come back.

This city will be a majority African-American city. It's the way God wants it to be. You can't have New Orleans no other way. It wouldn't be New Orleans.

This is the perfect race for me as far as I'm concerned. You know, the first time I ran, I was able to coalesce with white voters much quicker. I still got a significant portion of the black vote. This time it's different.

In a city that's special, New Orleans, the brand that not only locals marvel at, but the nation and the international community marvel at. That's the New Orleans we're going to build.
