Here we sit with everybody telling us the counterpart is science, right, that without basic science, pretty soon the NIH, with all of its work, is going to be without the talent that's needed to back up the medical people.

I believe that that has to happen. I guess the rest is, I hope it happens, and the sooner the better, in my mind.
It seems to me that sooner or later something has to be done. The economy is suffering from an awful lot of people not knowing what is going to happen.
