The committee fully intends that the feasibility studies and the site recommendations prepared by DOE will be accepted and carried out by the Corps of Engineers as appropriate. Furthermore, the Energy and Water Development Conference for fiscal year 1998 contains language requiring the Corps to honor all existing contracts.
