Pervez Musharraf: “We are tackling them with 50,000 troops. So, let it not be said that Pakistan is not doing enough.”

That is a ridiculous idea and I don't contribute at all; anyone who thinks like that is absolutely and 100 percent wrong.

But he is purposely denying -- turning a blind eye, like an ostrich. He is finding it more convenient to throw the blame on Pakistan.

It is a new, more forceful step in Pakistan's crackdown on Islamic extremism. President Pervez Musharraf says all foreign students in religious schools there, madrasas, will be thrown out of the country, even those with dual nationality.

Afghanistan for centuries has been governed loosely through a social covenant between all the ethnic groups, under a sovereign king. This structure is needed again to bring peace and harmony.
