“I will miss the rollcall vote on H.J. Res. 64, which will formally authorizes the use of military force against the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks which occurred on September 11, 2001. The events of September 11 were horrific, and I request that the Congressional Record reflect that had I been present and voting, I would have cast my vote in favor of the resolution authorizing the use of military force.”
