I want to, just as we end this debate, again thank the gentleman from California (Mr. Cox) and his staff for the cooperation we have had in drafting this amendment. I think this amendment will go a long ways to dealing with the security problems at our national labs. I can tell my colleagues, Secretary Bill Richardson, Ed Curran, one of our finest FBI leaders in this country, are committed to finally getting this problem cured and resolved. This is the heart and soul of this amendment. It is the heart and soul of our report. I want to thank all of my colleagues, the gentleman from South Carolina (Mr. Spratt), the gentleman from Virginia (Mr. Scott), and the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Roybal-Allard) for their leadership on the committee. We had a good team, and the Republicans had a good team. Let us have an overwhelming vote for this Cox-Dicks amendment.
