We need to ask ourselves how it is that in a time of economic recovery, we did not win and -- or in some cases even engage in the economic conversation that Americans wanted to hear from us.

It is not what we promised our families, and I am really glad that we have the opportunity today to talk about what is required to deliver this promise to our constituents.

It would still have 1,000 net losses in overall staff at SSA, but not as bad as the 3,400 that I would say would be--I do not want to call it catastrophic. It would be devastating if the House mark were to go through.
