It is a politicized issue.

I’m willing to play ball.

I’m not saying we’re taxing people into poverty, right? That’s not the case. We’re not taxing people out of the state. We’re just looking for a little bit of parity.

The answer to most of our problems is simple. It’s just a tax on billionaires, tax the wealthiest, tax large corporations that have every tax advantage at their disposal.

There is an affordability crisis that affects almost every household in this state, whether it’s healthcare, whether it’s groceries, whether it’s energy bills, or whether it’s housing, and it feels like there’s no sign of things letting up.

This will be an incredibly competitive race. It already is. The general election is going to show up fast and furious.

The reality is we always expect to Ron Johnson to distort the truth and try to hide from his own record.

This is about the people who’ve been at the top because of senators like Ron Johnson, Ron Johnson specifically, and everybody else has been left behind by his policies.

Over two years -- or two years in the U.S. Senate, his biggest achievement was the tax plan that he orchestrated, $215 million in tax deductions for two of his biggest donors.

Ron Johnson can't be trusted to protect American democracy, because it's just not his thing.

Ron Johnson has been in it for himself, doubled his own wealth and is hell-bent on making everybody else's life worse.

When we had an opportunity to improve people's quality of life, every step of the way, Ron Johnson has been adamantly opposed to it.
