Unfortunately, many administrators and State educational regulators have apparently preferred to sweep these incidents under the rug and have ‘pass[ed] the trash’ to another school,

I encourage universities to respond concretely to these questions and provide full transparency to the American people.

This forthright conversation with the American people is long overdue. And it is the essential first step toward rebuilding trust in the sector.
