it sounds cartoonish or ridiculous to say that right now, there is an election between one candidate who wants more people to get sick and one candidate who wants fewer people to get sick, but that is really what the choices at this point.
We had a President at the time and a Vice President who believed in science.
This will absolutely save lives, it will absolutely keep people from getting desperately ill.
The Republican legislature is specifically and very cynically intended for this to go under the radar.
