We must restore water flows, river deltas and wetlands, and bring hydraulic structures into proper condition. Grants, concessional lending and other channels of climate financing can and should support this work.

We, the CIS member states, must answer the question of what we want the Commonwealth to look like in the long term and what place it should occupy in the rapidly changing geopolitical architecture of Eurasia.

And this ‘Washington Model’ may become a core of an International Treaty under the auspices of the UN.
