This is who we are now. We thought that this would be over after Newtown and what happened at Sandy Hook and that, finally, Republicans in Washington, D.C., would take the steps necessary to start making this less and less likely.

This is a moment in politics, I think, where people expect folks to deliver results.

I think the saddest part of this today of course is the loss of life of these children and of the adult who passed away, but also the sadness that we have not done what we should have done by now to try and prevent something like happened…

Oh, I absolutely think the DOJ should investigate here. They are sending people across state lines under false pretenses. They are essentially trafficking these people for their own political gain.
