I submit for the Record a clarification to the Senate Committee Allocation tables published on pages 88 and 89 of House Report 109-62, the Report to accompany H. Con. Res. 95, the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2006. The revised tables are consistent with committee allocation tables published in prior years' conference reports on budget resolutions. I think Dr. Rivlin is absolutely correct on both points, and Simpson-Bowles did the same thing that Domenici-Rivlin did, which was to actually increase benefits to single women over 85, and low-income individuals.
