It might be time to not attack the intelligence community. But actually be supportive, of a thorough, transparent, rigorous, non-political investigation into what exactly happened.

Chelsea Manning is somebody who went through the military criminal justice process, was exposed to due process, was found guilty, was sentenced for her crimes, and she acknowledged wrongdoing.

So the president was not singling out ISIL. He was talking about the very different threat that is posed by a range of extremists around the globe.

Director Comey is a man of integrity. He's a man of principle. He's a man who is well-regarded by senior officials in both parties.
