This country is really divided. The loud ones are the far right, the far left. I think the quiet ones are right in the middle. And the majority is right in the middle, where people want everyone to work together to get things done.

We should be making laws to make voting easier, not difficult.

By passing S. 1895, Congress is honoring Indian treaties, including our Navajo treaty of 1868, and upholding the Federal trust responsibility.

Water is a fundamental need. It provides life, growth, and protection.

Protecting tribal sacred areas and cultural resources is essential to upholding the federal trust responsibility.

In the most powerful country in the world, 30-40 percent of our Navajo people don't have running water.

It is critical that we get water. Water to our Navajo people and through this drought, in our way of life, in our culture.

Folks have taken advantage of Tribal communities, including the Federal Government.

What we liked for the future of Tribes here in the United States is direct funding.

40 to 50 percent of indigenous people don't have running water, they don't have broadband access.

I am asking the Chairman and members of this committee to lead the charge in putting into legislation an extension of the CARES Act funding for Tribes.
