I will continue to oppose every bad policy, to question every baseless assertion, and to advocate for a wiser course that will make our country more secure.

Time and again, this administration has tried to leave the American people with the impression that Iraq has well over 100,000 fully trained, fully competent military police and personnel. And that is simply not true.

I am troubled by the damage done to our image around the world; I am concerned by our loss of focus in fighting terrorism.
