If they don't like the bill, let's amend the bill. But to have no debate on the bill, it seems to me, they are completely turning their backs on the women and children of this country, and those babies yet to be born. I had a discussion this afternoon with the President of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. I was talking to her about the numbers of students going into the field of obstetrics and gynecology. At the Nevada School of Medicine, the lowest number ever of students have applied to go into obstetrics and gynecology. She pointed out a statistic in the State right next door, Utah. That number actually was zero. Zero have decided to go into obstetrics and gynecology. Let me repeat--in Utah, there are no new physicians this year who decided to go into obstetrics and gynecology. That is an alarming figure for the future. For those people who are saying it is a problem but it is not that bad--the problem is bad today and it is going to get much worse in the future.
