You look at a jury without a black or without a man on it, it certainly was not a jury of Trayvon's peers. The Department of Justice must intervene and take this case, frankly, to another level.

Some people are so blinded by the divisions of race and religion and class and political parties, they can't see what's on the other side of the wall.

It is at least a factor. Today I saw 5,000 African Americans on the I-10 causeway desperate, perishing, dehydrated, babies dying. It looked like Africans in the hull of a slave ship.

Oh, it's impossible not to be concerned about the jury makeup when you look at Glynn County, 27 percent of the population at least is black, yet, there is only one black on the jury.
