I have a few more comments. Logic should make this obvious. If you can provide energy that does not cost you any money--solar and wind, for example--is it not logical to put it in the mix? That is all we are saying. The Department of Energy agrees with us and says it will save money. I understand those from the oil-producing States do not want this provision, but common sense tells us it is the best thing we can do. Therefore, I urge my colleagues to vote against the amendment.
