Voting rights didn`t get done. In fact, the Voting Rights Act -- the Voting Rights Act is on its deathbed.

the message for Democrats going into 2022 is that we deliver, Democrats deliver. Republicans obstruct. Republicans don`t do anything else. But we deliver.

But these two bills are essential for our candidates to run on next year. And so we have got to continue to deliver for the American people.

Well, Jonathan, these people are unhinged. It`s like watching a version of looney tunes or something. They`re cuckoo for cocoa puffs. I mean, this is just absolutely crazy.

There is nothing about that is American. That is something that you find in -- in Putin`s Russia.

This puts a tremendous amount of pressure on Congress to act.

Listen, before I’m a Democrat, I’m an American. And, you know, a threat to our democracy, a threat to the way we live is something that we all should have high on our priority list.

It is shameful, absolutely shameful what they have done to this democracy of ours. And they don`t deserve to be in power.

You know, the Republicans love to talk about people being woke. Well, ding, ding, ding, the American people are waking up, and they see that the emperor does not have on any clothes.

We know that the filibuster has been utilized on a number of occasions on issues dealing with race, and particularly suppressing and prohibiting Black Americans, in particular, from exercising all of their rights as American citizens.

This is Jim Crow 2.0. Let’s just call it what it is.

These rights -- and it shouldn’t be a Democrat versus Republican thing. This is about the Americans right to vote.
