Instead of confronting this existential threat with science and ingenuity, the President is denying the threat and the problem exists and it continues.
I am not in favor of separate line item appropriations for STAA or any other team in GAO because I think it will lead to stovepipes within the agencies.
This problem will occur over decades, and we need to get a handle on it right now.
