I would be delighted to discuss this matter with the Senator. The heart of my concern is that there has been a consistent pattern of underestimating our need, and the depletion of the stockpile means if they yet again underestimated the need, it would not be available for quick deployment in the theater, which would leave our troops short again. That is the basis of my concern. We would be delighted to discuss it with the Senator.
