Well, we do all the time and I think there is a misconception that we don't. We hand over dangerous criminals to the immigration officials, but what we don't do is we don't do that without a warrant or without a constitutional process, just based on the way somebody looks or where live or who they are.
Garcetti clarifies that Los Angeles does cooperate with immigration enforcement but insists on constitutional processes.
