Elizabeth Dole: “General Myers, is this very cost-effective program adequately funded?”

I do not see how we can be a nation that truly cares for our military and veteran communities if we wait another day to get this legislation passed.

I ask you again, members of the Committee, and all of you here today to give your full support to the military caregivers serving our Nation.

Now I urge you to remain united, to continue to put veterans and caregivers first, and to pass these bills.

I think our earlier RAND research also pointed this out, that many of them do not see themselves as a caregiver.
