“I say to my colleague, ``You know, what you're saying, and I think that we are talking about a health issue here, and I think that's the reason why I become very sensitive; you are saying, `Trust us.' But you know I don't think we can go totally on `Trust us,' because if you have a State that's doing harm to people that reside in another State, you know there is no real incentive for them to do anything about it.'' So, I think that is the situation we are talking about. So, yes, we would like to trust, but we are talking about people dying, and that is what this issue is all about. So I would like for the gentleman to think very seriously about adding this amendment because I think it strengthens the bill. I would like to vote for this, but I cannot vote for it knowing that we have this issue out there that could affect a lot of lives if we do not correct it here now.”
