If John A. MacDonald, before Confederation, can build a railroad from one end of our country to the other in four and a half years, why can't we build a pipeline even quicker with the technology we have?

“The federal government could also match Ontario’s ambition to lower costs by making the suspension permanent.”

Critical infrastructure gets built, tens of thousands of jobs are created. We protect our energy and economic sovereignty and taxpayers get a return on their investment. It’s a win all around.

I want to be clear: what I’m talking about is government providing the patient capital needed to invest in our future.
