I am extremely disappointed in the action as you might imagine and the lack of transparency and accountability in the process is also unacceptable.

The RFS is a key economic driver in my home state of Iowa and actually throughout farm country, and the biofuels industry has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Communities cannot thrive if they are left behind as the rest of the country moves forward.

Because this entire waiver process has happened, really, without any transparency whatsoever, I am disappointed, my constituents are disappointed, and we really have no idea whether those gallons have been reassigned as required by law.
